TouchDesigner Operation Foundations Certification Program

Welcome to The TouchDesigner Operation Foundations Certificate program! You’re about to gain a strong understanding of the fundamentals of TouchDesigner, as well as obtain the first certification for TouchDesigner professionals.

Upon completing this course, you can expect to have gained the following skills and knowledge:

• Comprehension of the fundamentals of the TouchDesigner paradigm
• A strong understanding of the six main operator families used by TouchDesigner
• Demonstrated grasp of the basics of real-time generative content
• Understanding of the TouchDesigner documentation and Wiki
• Knowledge of where to find – and how to leverage – community tools

After completing the course and passing the exam, you will receive a certificate that can demonstrate your passing of the exam. This can be used on your CV, LinkedIn profile, and portfolio to demonstrate your abilities. 

Before you start, here are some things you should know:

• The content of this course is identical to the content in the Beginner Crash Course, The Ultimate Resource Guide, and the Pro TouchDesigner Tips & Tricks. All three of these trainings can be found in the “Video Courses and Training” section of the “My Resources” page. If you’ve already taken viewed these trainings recently, you may be able to skip ahead to the exam. However, the exam is not easy and assumes you have studied all of the material in this program thoroughly.
• You can only attempt the exam twice every 30 days. Even if you’re already familiar with the content in this program, it might be in your best interest to review it before attempting the exam.
• The program consists of about 6 hours of video content, but will likely take longer as you pause to take notes.
• To pass the program and get your certificate, you must complete an exam. The exam consists of a series of multiple choice questions that will test your knowledge of TouchDesigner. To pass, you must achieve a 75% on the exam.
